Seeking 4th Grade Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher for 2008/09 School Year

Tacoma Waldorf School is located in central Puget Sound, thirty minutes south of Seattle and thirty minutes north of the State
Capital, Olympia, Washington. We are nestled between mountains, the Olympics on the west & Cascade Mountain Range on the east,
running north to south, and Puget Sound with its many bays, channels, inlets and coves.

Tacoma is an up-and-coming arts community with museums, coffee houses, live theatre and a symphony. We have a growing
waterfront that offers restaurants and a walking path year-round with summer activities of kayaking, parasailing and rollerblading.
The mountains offer skiing, sledding & snowmobiling in the winter and hiking in the summer. The Northwest offers four seasons,
with long summer days and mild winter weather. We have a variety of parks and nature trails minutes away, plus many other
activities enjoyed in the Northwest including, but not limited to, sailing, boating, beachcombing and fishing.

Our salary for experienced full time teachers with Waldorf certification includes increments for teaching and educational experience.
Faculty receive health benefits (including dental and vision) and faculty children in our school receive full tuition remission and
aftercare. Candidates with Waldorf teacher training certification or equivalent experience are preferred.
