Discounts and Fees
Sibling Discount:
Only available to families paying full tuition.
Two children: oldest child – full tuition, second child – 15% discount.
Three or more children: oldest child – full tuition, second child – 15% discount, third and subsequent children – 30% discount.
Pre-paid Discount
Tacoma Waldorf offers a 5% discount if annual tuition is paid in full by August 1st.
Non-Refundable Fees
(Tuition Adjustment Program does not cover fees)
Enrollment Fee:
$150.00 fee for each child, due at the time of enrollment.
Equipment Fee: $150.00
The per family capital asset fee funds the purchase of items that remain in the school as an asset, including furniture, blackboards and capital projects intended to enhance the classroom environment. The Capital Asset Fee is billed in August and is due by August 31. If payment is not received by August 31, a late fee of $25 will be assessed for each month the payment is past due. When enrolling mid year, Capital Asset Fee is due upon enrollment.
Supply Fees:
3 day preschool program - $300.00
4 day preschool program - $325.00
5 day Kindergarten - $350.00
Gradeschool - $375.00
The supply fee covers the cost of classroom consumables such as art, specialty class materials, main lesson books and food in our Early Childhood Program. Supply Fees do not cover the cost of recorders, field trips and musical instrument rentals. Please speak to your classroom teacher regarding anticipated costs for these items. Supply Fees are billed in June with the first half due by June 30 and the remaining half is prorated and paid monthly with tuition. For new families enrolling later than June 30, half will be due upon enrollment with the balance prorated with monthly tuition. If payments are not received by June 30, a late fee of $25 will be assessed for each month the payment is past due.
